Fiona Mendelson oversees the PSGP, Counselling and Social Work programmes as well as AMP’s Monitoring & Evaluation. She joined AMP in 2008 shortly after its inception and has held both on-the-ground and governance roles. Her background is in Accident and Emergency Nursing and Major Incident Planning. Fiona has worked in the NGO sector since arriving in South Africa in 2001, and has developed and implemented programmes in patient advocate training, youth HIV education and a University of Cape Town Continuing Education course for lay health care workers. Fiona has a MPH from the University of Cape Town.

David Bolomewa Ntiniwe is a registered social worker and has a Bachelors of Arts in Social Sciences from UCCM in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a degree in Social Work from UNISA and is currently completing his Masters in Development Studies at the University of the Western Cape. He has extensive experience working with and advocating for vulnerable families, refugees and those suffering with mental health problems. Georgine Nguizani arrived in South Africa from the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2006, after working as a journalist. Before joining AMP she worked and volunteered for over 10 years in the field of gender-based violence prevention, HIV education and community outreach. In addition, she started her own catering company providing much needed employment for vulnerable women. Georgine heads up AMP’s team of Community Support Workers connecting communities with much needed information and resources.
