Counselling Services

Over the years, the Adonis Musati Project has observed that nearly all cross-border migrants we work with struggle with trauma and stress as a result of having endured massive human rights violations. Upon arrival in South Africa, many cross-border migrants, refugees and asylum seekers face overwhelming obstacles and an unwelcoming environment. These factors exacerbate mental distress and often lead to a state of despair and hopelessness.

AMP has several in-house registered counsellors who provide individual and group therapeutic interventions for adults and children to help alleviate their trauma and support them in rebuilding their lives.
